As a part of the youth tour program, Victory Electric sponsors two high school junior students on an all-expense paid trip to Washington, D.C., and two high school junior students to Cooperative Leadership Camp in Steamboat Springs, Colorado. These trips are part of our nationwide youth tour program supported by rural electric cooperatives designed to acquaint future leaders with government in action and energy issues of the future. The Washington, D.C., trip is June 18-25, 2020, with the Steamboat Springs excursion on July 10-16, 2020.

All area high school juniors are eligible to apply by submitting the application of interest form online or to our office by no later than October 4, 2019. Upon receipt of the interest form, we will send to each candidate an information packet explaining the contest. The packet contains a résumé form for you to complete and return by October 25, 2019. Once we receive all of the forms, judges will choose if they want to narrow the list of candidates to interview. We will then contact you to schedule a time for an interview, starting at 1 p.m. on Sunday, November 2, 2019. The winners will be called at the conclusion of the interviews, so there is no need for students to stay after their interview
