Victory Electric Community Health Fair
Victory Electric and many community partners come together in October to host a community health fair for local citizens to receive free medical services and advice.
Victory Electric started the health fair in 2007 as a way to give back to the community. Since the first year, participation has more than quadrupled.
In 2017, more than 50 doctors and health care professionals performed 204 blood draws, 150 flu shots, 68 pap smears, 78 blood pressure checks, 106 hearing tests, 182 vision screenings and much more.
“The doctors and health care professionals are the heart and soul of this event and we wouldn’t have such success without the dedication and time of these individuals,” said Jerri Imgarten, Victory Electric vice president of communications and the coordinator of the health fair. “We want to thank them and the many volunteers who donated their time to come help.”
The 2019 Victory Electric Community Health Fair will be held Saturday, October 5, from 8 to 11 a.m. at the Western State Bank Expo Center in Dodge City. If you are a doctor or health care professional, the application can be found here. No tiered marketing allowed.
